The
Armenian Shitoryu Karate Federation (ASKF) has been established in 1998.
In 1999 ASKF got a member of the Armenian Karate Federation (AKF). ASKF
has clubs in different marzes of Armenia and more than 300 students. The
federation has 15 coaches who are
also acting sportsmen and are participating in national and international
karate tournaments. The president and founder of ASKF is Arkadi Zakaryan.
