HERNIK SIRAVYAN

Henrik Siravyan was born in 1928, in Yerevan. He graduated
from Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Painting.
Mr. Siravyan worked in Martiros Saryan's studio from 1958
to 1966. Together they worked on picture "Armenia" (5,00*25,00m)
in Sundukyan Theater and on triptych stained-glass window
"Armenia" (4,00*6,00m) in Small Philharmonic Hall.
Since 1956 he has been member of Artists' Union of Armenia.
From 1974 to 1986 he decorated national exhibitions
(international fairs, Expose) in Lagos, Buenos Aires, Los
Angeles, Zagreb, Delhi, Barcelona, Paris,, Montreal. He was
awarded various honors, a gold medal and diplomas.
From 1985 to 1987 he worked on Fresco "The Armenian Song"
(3,50*1,500m) in the RA Choir Society.
In 1982 he decorated "David Bek" opera in the Yerevan Opera
House.
In 1993 he opened a big individual exhibition in Yerevan.
His works can he found in different museums of Moscow, St.
Peterburg, Kiev, Yerevan and in many foreign private
collections.
Mr. Siravyan has received many awards and honor diplomas in
various exhibitions of foreign and former USSR counties. He was
awarded by order of "Friendship of Nations".
Henrik Siravyan is a distinguished artist. He is married;
he has two sons and a daughter.
