| I am Gerasim Shahverdian. I was born on
the 29th of August
in 1961 in Yerevan. I left the secondary school No 118 in 1978. In 1978-84 I have studies in Panos Terlemezian's college in the section of sculpture. In 1981-83 I served in the USSR Army. In 1984 I entered the State Art Institute (the faculty of sculpture). In 1990 (with July 3 decision) I was given a qualification of teacher, artist and sculpture. In 1978-88 I worked in Junior's Technician school at the head of the circle (school) of "Skillful hands". In 1985 in Moscow I was awarded the II degree diploma for the work "Military surgeon Babayan". In 1988 in Vilnius I took part in the Student's exhibition and was awarded with money. Since 1985 I have been creating, taking part in exhibitions in Yerevan. In 1999 the monument of Mesrop Mashtots was situated in Adjapniak. I am married and have two sons. |
