Wushu as a sport created and developed in China. As a philosophy and sport it educated to cure diseases and to temper the fighting will. International Wushu Federation (IWUF) associates with the federations of 83 countries. It involves also an Armenian Traditional Wushu Federation, which has been established in 1993. The 6th World Wushu Championships will be organized in Yerevan from 31 of October to 4 of November. 41 sets of medals for 2 kinds of Wushu will be presented among the sportsmen from more than 60 countries of the world.

02 May 2002. FOOTBALL WORLD CUP
Begining from 1930 the World CUP started
its games. Armenian teams participated in that competitions since 1996.
World Cup 2002 will be organized in South Korea and Japan, where the 32 national
teams are involved. The place of the final games will become Tokohama (Japan).

07.09.2004. CENTENARY OF FOOTBALL INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION ASSOCIATION
FIFA is the world sport association, which deals with questions concerning football development. It has established in 1904 in Paris.
Gathers 204 national country federations. The official langauges are French, English, German, Russian and Spanish. The head office is
determined by the residence of the general secretary. Armenia joined FIFA in 1992.

17.02. 2005. ATHENS XXVIII OLYMPIC GAMES
It is symbolic that in the new millennium first Olym-pic Games were held in Athens. Games are the national kind of celebrations and competitions of ancient Greece, passed after summer solstice, during the first full moon, in Olympus, in honour to god Zeus. Till 472 B.C.
Games were ended for one day. First only freeborn Greeks could participate in the games and later only Romans and foreigners.
The existance and participation of women were forbidden under the treath of death.
