THE ASSOCIATION OF LAWYERS AND POLICIANS OF ARMENIA

The association is a scientific-social union which was founded in September of 1995. Its aim is to assist with the juridical state consolidation in Republic of Armenia, with the strengthening of juridical field, with the formation of national culltural basis of the science of law and politics, with the formation of the process of juridical regulating of market relations. Its aim is to encourage the fulfilment of their investigations in the field of juridical, political, economical and humanitarian sciences the with help of the publishing the results of their investigations and to acquaint specialist and students with modern achievements of science in these fields. Its aim is to present the works carried out in Armenia in the mentioned fields of science to the international society, to increase the level of the development of juridical and political idea in Armenia, establishing communications with state and non-state offices of other countries, carrying out the same investigations with the aim of joint work. The association realizes its activity by the methods of subject programmes, of joint scientific-research, theoretical and practical works, by the method of conferences, seminars, courses of lectures, lectures, by the organizing of meetings, by the publishing of separate special books and works, by the measures of mass information and by the method of analysis. The association has three centres in its structure: juridical, political and economical, under the leadership of authoritative scientists. There are 700 members in the structure of association: jurists, politicians, economists, among which are doctors and candidates, professors and professor-assistants, post-gracluate students and final-year-students as well. The association is directed by the board, in the structure of which besides leaders of association and centres famous specialists and scientist of Armenia are included as well, at present time "law and power" TV and radio programmes are organized by the association. " Low and power" journal is published. More than 20 special books and works, text-books are published.
