Ervand Bichakhchian was born in 1947 in Artic, Armenia.
In 1981 he had graduated Yerevan Art Institute, department of Art, specialized by painting.
Ervand Bichakhchian participated in various exebitions in Armenia and abroad.
In 1988 he was elected the member of the Armenian Art Union. He discovered Armenia, the austere beauty of its nature and cities.
