KAREDARAN"-is a museum of stone art. "KAR" in Armenian means "stone" . Sometimes Armenia's called "KARASTAN" -the country of stones . The territory of "KAREDARAN" as a matter of fact is an open University of antiquity. The Map of Armenian Rock Carvings is in the pic. 1.

In the computer database of rock art "KAREDARAN" (created in 1991) there are more than 30 thousands images in mountains of Armenia in VII-I millennium BC, on from 2 up to 3,5 thousand meters above sea-level.

Overwhelming majority of these images of an ancient civilization creation has never been published before and is presented for wide use for the first time.

The structure of images database includes the following sections:

• mythical worship symbols and images,
• the animal kingdom
• hunting,
• cattle-breeding,
• religion (Bible),
• cartography,
• notion of life,
• alphabetic letters appearances,

• family, maternity,
• sensuality,
• everyday life,
• love.

Priceless treasures are collected in the database, notions of knowledge, experience and history of an ancient civilization, thousands of pages of the unique stone encyclopaedia of a biblical nation.

In "Karedaran" there are maps of the Moon and different constellations, appearances of the modern alphabet letters of Armenian, Greek and other languages, original note sings, appearances of khazes, pictures and canvas which are qualified as a creation of the evolution of mankind's geniuses, mind, actually reflecting everyday life, mentality, intellect, culture and tradition, attitude of a man towards labor, good and evil and his role and place in the Universe.

Many of these images have comments and author interpretation of the Institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian Republican Telecommunication Informational Computer Center "Search", The Research Center "Karedaran" and the Faculty of History of the Yerevan State University.
